Job Description

Perform Medical Insurance activities efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments within wider scope.

Key Accountability Areas

Business Operations:

  • Perform the renewal and submission of alfanar insurance program.
  • Review and monitor employee insurance addition\deletion.
  • Review and monitor stock update declarations in PAR policies.
  • Receive and review statements of accounts and forward them to accounting departments.
  • Process claims
  • Check claims settlement and invoices.

Policies and Procedures:

  • Review and check policies’ terms and conditions and raise related issues to insurance committee to be considered in the renewal.
  • Provide advice related to general insurance policies in liaison with the broker or insurance company.

Performance and Customer Relations:

  • Arrange frequent business meeting with business owners and insurance committee.
  • Monitor Insurance broker performance and adherence and outputs.
  • Conduct survey for insurance services satisfaction level.

Risk Analysis:

  • Coordinate with insurance brokers to conduct property risk survey and submit the findings reports to each business unit management.

Filing and Documentation:

  • Archive all insurance policies and supporting documents.

Reports:

  • Prepare & coordinate quarterly report of insurance operations.

  • Ability to recruit, recognize and cultivate high performers and expose them in order to create a robust second line of management.
  • Ability to recognize low performers and guide them to improve or release them.
  • Ability to treat subordinates equally without any discrimination.

  • Ensure availability of delegation of authority matrix to have sufficient delegations as per company policy.

  • Able to transform the corporate goals into business plans.
  • Able to Plan, follow-up and execute those plans, whether they are annual or development plans.
  • Monitor the plan performance and initiate action to strengthen results and take the corrective action accordingly.
  • Provide periodic work progress reports.
  • Responsible for monitoring and controlling budgets and expenses to achieve the optimum cost efficiency.

Organizational Development:

  • Develop the organizational structure according to the current requirements taking into consideration future and development plans.
  • Ensure availability of job descriptions for all job roles and deployment.

Business Process Improvements:

  • Develop, coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
  • Should be conversant and able to navigate through IT solutions especially those relevant to his job and business.
  • Promote the automated systems and using them fully, to spread its culture.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Any relevant field
