Role Purpose
HR Strategy Director Is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the strategic direction of the human resources department with a focus on HR Planning, HR Analytics, Workforce Planning, HR Operating Model, and Culture, Diversity & Inclusion. This role involves aligning HR initiatives and functions with the company’s business objectives, fostering a positive organizational culture, and enhancing overall employee performance and satisfaction.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Strategic HR Planning
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the NEOM’s overall business goals.
- Lead the planning and implementation of HR programs, policies, and initiatives.
- Analyze and forecast HR trends and metrics to inform strategic planning.
HR Analytics
- Utilize data analytics to drive HR strategies and decisions.
- Develop and monitor HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide regular reports and analysis to senior leadership on HR activities and outcomes.
Workforce Planning
- Lead workforce planning and organizational development efforts.
- Conduct organizational assessments and implement improvement plans.
- Oversee talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies.
HR Operating Model
- Design and implement an efficient and effective HR operating model.
- Ensure HR processes and systems are aligned with business needs.
- Drive organizational change initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Culture, Diversity & Inclusion
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Develop and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Foster a positive employee relations environment, addressing and resolving workplace issues.
People Management
- Help instill a culture of development, guidance and performance within HR Strategy Department
Participate in setting performance requirements and recruiting for key positions across HR Strategy Department - Set performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate / appraise staff and provide regular feedback on performance
- Promote a high-performance working environment embracing NEOM’s values
- Develop and implement a program of capacity development for Department staff.
BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Minimum 15 years of senior strategic experience in strategic HR strategy within a similar industry.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and act operationally.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- MBA / master’s in human resources or other managerial qualification.
