Job Description

Role Purpose

HR Strategy Director Is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the strategic direction of the human resources department with a focus on HR Planning, HR Analytics, Workforce Planning, HR Operating Model, and Culture, Diversity & Inclusion. This role involves aligning HR initiatives and functions with the company’s business objectives, fostering a positive organizational culture, and enhancing overall employee performance and satisfaction.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Strategic HR Planning

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the NEOM’s overall business goals.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of HR programs, policies, and initiatives.
  • Analyze and forecast HR trends and metrics to inform strategic planning.

HR Analytics

  • Utilize data analytics to drive HR strategies and decisions.
  • Develop and monitor HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide regular reports and analysis to senior leadership on HR activities and outcomes.

Workforce Planning

  • Lead workforce planning and organizational development efforts.
  • Conduct organizational assessments and implement improvement plans.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies.

HR Operating Model

  • Design and implement an efficient and effective HR operating model.
  • Ensure HR processes and systems are aligned with business needs.
  • Drive organizational change initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Culture, Diversity & Inclusion

  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Develop and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Foster a positive employee relations environment, addressing and resolving workplace issues.

People Management

  • Help instill a culture of development, guidance and performance within HR Strategy Department
    Participate in setting performance requirements and recruiting for key positions across HR Strategy Department
  • Set performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate / appraise staff and provide regular feedback on performance
  • Promote a high-performance working environment embracing NEOM’s values
  • Develop and implement a program of capacity development for Department staff.

BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of senior strategic experience in strategic HR strategy within a similar industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and act operationally.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • MBA / master’s in human resources or other managerial qualification.
