Job Description
Our transportation and logistics team in the Middle East is experiencing exciting growth and we have a need for a strong Senior Tunnel Engineer to support one of our major clients in Qatar. You will be working closely with our exciting client where you will be involved in managing the delivery of a wide range of strategic transport projects. In order for you to fulfil this role you must have excellent knowledge and experience of asset management. In addition, you will need to meet the following criteria:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive tunnel asset management strategy.
  • Conduct geotechnical analysis to determine tunneling methods and support systems.
  • Collect and analyze data related to tunnel asset performance, structural integrity, traffic loads, environmental factors, and other relevant data to inform maintenance and improvement decisions.
  • Develop maintenance and rehabilitation plans for tunnels to ensure they remain compliant with the relevant standards.
  • Ensure that tunnel assets meet safety standards and comply with all regulatory requirements

Here’s What You’ll Need

You must hold a bachelor’s degree in civil or geotechnical engineering from a recognized university.
Several years of experience in tunnel engineering, asset management, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of tunnel design, construction, structural analysis, and materials.
Proficiency in asset management software and data analysis tools.
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Adaptability to new technologies and methods.
