Job Description
Brunel International is looking for an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing systems to manage and clean municipal water supplies, developing solutions to environmental challenges, and ensuring compliance with domestic and international environmental legislation and policies.
About this role
- The Environmental Engineer will be responsible for designing systems to manage and clean municipal water supplies, developing solutions to environmental challenges such as waste treatment, site remediation, and pollution control technology;
- They will also ensure compliance with domestic and international environmental legislation and policies;
- Other responsibilities include collaborating with government agencies, organizations, and stakeholders on environmental initiatives; conducting research and analysis to identify innovative environmental solutions; providing technical expertise and guidance on environmental projects; monitoring environmental performance and recommending improvements; participating in environmental impact assessments and mitigation strategies; training and educating staff and stakeholders on environmental best practices.
What you need to bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Gulf region;
- A total of 10 years’ experience in environmental engineering or related field;
- Ability to work 8 hours per day, 6 days per week;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Knowledge of relevant domestic & international legislation & policies.
