Job Description
To carry out design and commissioning work as well as supervising the Design and Operations department activities; to act as a positive influence on the efforts of the staff; to identify training needs and assists with training and career development.
Main tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Coordinate and schedules all Operations related activities, (process, mechanical, and civil)
- Review proposals and contract files;
- participate in training and development activities of departmental staff; provides input to staff performance appraisals;
- Carry out design checks and certification as well as process design calculations, preliminary and detailed design with respect to the process, mechanical, civil, and fabrication drawings.
- Participate in plant commissioning, troubleshooting, and updating company standards;
- Performs any other duties as assigned by the Director Design & Build;
- Carry out the risk analysis;
- Participate in developing engineering documents and innovations;
- Coordinate with proposal for optimizing needed treatment process;
Qualifications
Job specifications
- Qualifications: Bachelor in Engineering
- Experience: 8 years design and commissioning WT & WWT systems including 2 years in a supervisory/management role.
- Specific training: Management skills training

QHSE Commitments Ensure the applicable QHSE Policies and standards/requirements/procedures are being applied and maintained Liaise with the internal or external interested parties during the QHSE audits/inspections Ensure that all the work activities at site/plant/project are controlled with the help of QHSE procedures, risk assessment (or LMRA) & the valid work permit Ensure the implementation of customer satisfaction requirements Ensure to report Incidents (near misses, unsafe conditions, unsafe actions & etc.) Keep the documented information as evidence ensuring the compliance to QHSE Management System Veolia Code of Conduct: Comply with applicable ethics and legislation referred to in Veolia Code of Conduct policy, particularly in the fight against corruption and influence peddling.
