Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed structural designs and models using BIM software (Revit) for various projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate structural design elements into overall building designs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and project specifications throughout the design process.
- Perform clash detection, model coordination, and resolve design conflicts in collaboration with other disciplines.
- Generate accurate quantity takeoffs and assist in the preparation of construction documents.
- Support the implementation of BIM methodologies and best practices within the company.
- Participate in meetings, presentations, and discussions to communicate project progress and findings effectively.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- 8-10 years of experience in structural design and modeling using BIM software.
- Proficiency in BIM tools (Revit).
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, codes, and standards.
- Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and coordinating design efforts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
