Senior Risk Engineer

Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Risk Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will get to support cost control as per contractual procedures, objectives, and requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Tracking, updating, and monitoring project risks and scheduling functions.
• Supporting Project Controls and Scheduling individuals in role execution.
• Demonstrating track record in large multidisciplinary projects.
• In-depth knowledge of project controls/risk management procedures.
• Proficient in all aspects of project controls and risk management.
• Ensuring and reviewing risk management compliance.
• Delivering technical project control/risk management requirements.
• Preparing risk assessment and mitigation plans.
• Assisting with the development and implementation of the Risk Management process.
• Maintaining and populating the IRMS database with risk-related information.
• Assisting in the production of risk reporting documents.
• Participating in risk meetings organized by the Senior Projects Control Manager.
• Providing support to the Senior / Project Controls Manager on project control matters.

Required Skills

• University degree from recognized university in an appropriate field such as quantity surveying, Commercial Management or Construction Management or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 10 years post graduate experience in major infrastructure projects or programs will be given to drainage projects.
• Requires basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field.
• Proficient PC skills including a working knowledge of various Project Controls software, Microsoft Office, Primavera and knowledge of PowerBI.
• Must have strong analytical skills and be able to think strategically.
• Experience in facilitating and administering multidiscipline meetings with large groups of stakeholders.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Understanding of the importance of timely reporting and the energy to deliver against demanding deadlines.
• Must be MME registered.
