Job Description
Quality Coordination and planning
- Interface with the EPC/OEM and other stakeholders in all matters related with the Quality aspects of the project, according to the EPC/OEM contract and the applicable local and international standards of quality.
- Planning of activities to comply with codes, directives and regulations applicable to the different projects.
- Lead the Quality Teams for the project.
- Ensure the assessment and monitoring of the External Inspection Companies, on site or in the manufacturing places.
Management of the quality documentation
- Ensure the review of quality documentation (quality procedures, Inspection and Test Plans…) in order to ensure they are done in accordance with the applicable requirements.
- Prepare files and any necessary information on matters related to the quality of the execution of the project, for the provisional and final commissioning requests.
- Guarantee the preparation of any quality files in accordance to the contract and any applicable international or national standards.
Supervision of the project quality and support
- Implement and monitor the QA/QC management system at site.
- Coordinate with the Project Managers, the Construction Managers, the Engineering Manager, the Procurement & Expediting Manager and the Commissioning Manager in all matters related with Quality Control & Assurance.
- Monitor the compliance with quality plans, ITP’s, tests, NDTs requirements on the assigned project.
Reporting
- Ensure the reception and the review of the quality monthly and weekly reports from the EPC/OEM
- Prepare monthly quality reports on the project.
- Prepare the quarterly report about the lessons learnt and organize dissemination workshops every 6 months.
Management
- Give his workforce support and lead them to enable them to work in good conditions and stay motivated.
- Develop the skills of his teams and maximize their performance.
- Plan the activity of his workforce by setting clear goals and validate their action plans.
- Check the work of his team.
Key Requirements
Studies
- Engineering degree from an accredited University.
- Specific certification in QA//QC.
Key work experience
- Deep knowledge of ISO 9001.
- Minimum experience requirements is 15 years in a similar role in the PV, wind and renewable experience will be valued.
- Must have site work experience.
