Job Description
Minimum Qualification
1. Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university.
2. Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry of which at least 7 years being related to design of Onshore with equally good knowledge in Onshore oil & gas processing.
3. Fluency in English Language.
4. Conversant with relevant International Code & Standards related to Piping engineering and in general Oil & Gas industry.
5. Detailed Hands-on Experience on Piping flexibility Analysis, Design and Installation Engineering is essential and as a minimum expertise on the following is mandatory:
3DModel review , Pipe Wall thickness, Flexibility analysis, MR’s/TBE’s/VDR, Pipe supporting, Input to material handling studies, Dropped object study, etc.,
6. Proficiency in Piping Engineering & General Software’s such as CAESAR-II, 3D Review Model software, AUTOCAD & Other general-purpose software’s etc.
Roles & Responsibilities
•Provide technical expertise to the Company on “Piping Engineering” (Onshore) incompliance with the COMPANY standards & HSE standards.
•Participate in the update/preparation of Piping specifications and standards for the Company
•Provide engineering support for all related Projects executed by “Engineering & Projects department
•Ensure design optimization and application of correct international codes and standards in various Company’s projects and studies
•Be a good team member and Coordinate/interact with Company project management team, site personnel & various outside consultants for the successful and smooth execution of the projects
•To liaise and report to the Senior Management on Piping Engineering Progress and Issues.
•Promote effective communication and challenge within the Contractors Engineering team to foster the production of safe, cost effective, fit for purpose and constructible Piping designs.
•Management of Change process including review of proposals
