Job Description
The Senior Project Manager ,Logistics operations is responsible for all aspects of the logistic supply chain, store management, development, and optimization of site logistics to meet the needs of the projects. The logistic project manager operation will be required to manage the movement of the people, goods and equipment at the construction site and control site facilities management. Key interfaces that the logistic project manager must ensure early engagement with are the project planner, commercial managers procuring the works. The logistic project manager operation should ensure that the various projects are fully aware of the logistic activities in support of the build program. Creates a construction logistic plan that includes: Planning site set-up to move labor, plant and materials around the site efficiently. Planning internal and external logistic routes through the project phases focusing on separation of vehicles, machinery and people; laydown areas and off-loading points. Preplanning of key asset usage such as hoists to ensure planned assets meet the needs of the program.

Strategic Contribution
• Assist with the implementation of the annual business plan and targets and execute the strategic agenda of the Architecture function to deliver TRSDC vision and mission
• Ensure that the strategy is translated into operational business plans for the Architecture function and monitor the performance and execution of those plans in order to achieve functional objectives and deliver the company’s strategy.
Budget
• Contribute to the preparation of the functional budget for the Architecture function and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.

Supply chain management
- Describes the characteristics of the site: Site access/egress; store capacity and arrangement by program, labor, hoists, cranes etc.
- Understand procurement arrangements and control materials in and out of site.
- Undertake planning and integration of key contractors to meet the needs of the planned program and deconfliction of on-site space and time where appropriate.
- Assist in the evaluation of potential logistic suppliers and appropriate delivery management booking systems.
- Gain commercial/ contract basic understanding.
- Record keeping and key performance indicators (KPI) production.
Job Responsibilities – Organizational
Delivery Management
- Select the appropriate delivery management technique, process and system.
- Provide logistic instructions to all project contractors.
- Manage all movement to, from and around the site and keep the associated records.
- Create and manage a booking system for all the logistic shared sitewide asset.
- Organize resources to enable contract deadline are achieved and to work additional hours as required to meet project deadlines.
- Be responsible for ensuring logistic activities are not a constraining factor on the program, where deemed unavoidable ensure the issues are communicated in order that deconfliction can occur.

- Define and organize all site signage to the agreed corporate standard.
- Ensure that signage and signage symbols used are as per MOT standards.
- Ensure additional languages are used in signage to ensure messages are understood.

Job Requirements – Qualification & Experience
- Bachelors degree with a minimum 12-15 years experience having managed the logistics on major airport projects. ME experience is a huge plus.
- Site experience in basic interface requirements for all site activities related to the logistics of major buildings /Airport construction.
- Familiar with all the logistical methodologies as well as the corresponding equipment, materials, consumables, tools related to airport and building projects.
- Site experience in basic interface requirements for all site activities related to the logistics construction.
- Familiar with all the logistical methodologies as well as the corresponding equipment, materials, consumables, tools related to Airports or major building projects.
- The logistic project manager operation will be primarily based at the remote site location.
