Job Description
  • Review Procedures, Material submittals & other submittals related to steel works.
  • Review and approve method statements and ITPs related to steel works and associated works.
  • Review of shop drawings & Fabrication drawings.
  • Verification of the various reports submitted by the Steel subcontractors.
  • Ensure that all works done are in accordance with the approved drawings, project specification and Local & International standards & codes.
  • Conduct the review of the material receiving inspections by coordinate with QC Material Engineer.
  • Coordination with Operation team for the various inspections and testing.
  • Present Reports to the QHSE Manager & QA Section Head on monthly basis
  • Conduct the quality audit along with the QA Head as per IMS, and required local & International standards.
  • Conduct audits on all subcontractors for factory activities and installations on site.
  • All type of inspection is witnessed in all stages of erection as per ITP, Approved drawing, codes & standards
  • Raise Nonconformance’s and observation reports
  • Contract quality standards specifications and requirements, Quality Plan, Procedures & other related documents
  • Drafting quality assurance policies.
  • Ensuring the Company SOPs are effective in implementation.
  • Assist the company departments/plant to understand the organization SOPs.
  • Conduct the new comer’s orientation.

Pursue any other activities within the job scope assigned by his direct supervisor or organization management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree
    •    Experience working in the quality area for an organization certified to ISO 9001 or similar standard
    •    Minimum 5 Years & Preferably has experience in industrial projects.
    •    Knowledge of Quality Assurance system development and implementation such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.
    •    Experience with the proper use of measuring equipment
    •    Proficiency in MS Office, including Viso, Word and Excel.
    •    Excellent communication skills, both orally and written, at all levels of an organization.
    •    Strong organizational skills and motivational skills.
    •    Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and make logical decisions.
    •    Ability to work independently, as well as within a team.
    •    Highly motivated, high potential individual capable of leading people in a dynamic fast changing industrial setting.
    •    Focus on quality and customer service, Coordinate with external auditors and implement their requirements
