Quality Control Specialist

Job Description

You as a Quality Control Specialist will be part of be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Ramadan City, El-Sharkia, Egypt.  You will Supports the definition and implementation of actions to improve safety, operating efficiency, quality and productivity in the value chain, to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment with the local business.

Your responsibilities

  • Conducting factory routine tests and factory acceptance tests with customers according to IEC standards to ensure that all products meet customer requirements.
  • Preparing nonconformity reports as needed, implements corrective and preventive actions reports and check their resolution.
  • Monitoring supplier performance and assists in critical situation resolution. Participates in the assessment of new suppliers and periodically evaluates supplier performance. Tests and validates new components / goods prototypes by performing special tests. Tracks supplier test certificates
  • Monitoring production lines and suppliers to ensure correct application of internal procedures and technical documentation.
  • Performing root cause analysis of rejected products and coordinates corrective actions with appropriate teams. Ensures the quality control of incoming materials and components.
  • Utilizing safety systems to perform work, resulting in an accident-free workplace. Notifies others when unsafe situations are observed and works with local safety teams to improve the safety systems.
  • Ensuring that all necessary quality records such as inspection and test documents are maintained properly.
  • Training local teams in the standard quality improvement approach to develop organization capability to continuously improve business practices and performance.
  • Conducting benchmarking and best practice spreading within the operations to embed a culture of excellence in operational performance.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical Power Engineering.
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience as a Quality Control Specialist
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English.
