Job Description

Improving product quality during the manufacturing process. Managing quality systems, validating new/existing products, addressing non-conformities, and overseeing design specifications. Reducing customer complaints, examining rework percentages, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Ensuring compliance with regulations and coordinating with different departments to simplify manufacturing processes and maintain high quality.

Key Accountability Areas

Quality Management System (QMS) Documentation:

  • Develop and update procedures and formats for Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC).
  • Establish and oversee ISO documentation, including creating Corrective Action Reports (CAR) and Continual Improvement Records.

Calibration Activities:

  • Coordinate External Calibration processes, involving Purchase Requisition (PR) creation, instrument dispatch, and reception.
  • Perform Internal Calibration, supervising instrument calibration and preparing corresponding reports.

Audit and Compliance:

  • Carry out both Internal and External Audits to verify compliance with ISO standards.

Inspection and Testing Planning:

  • Create and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
  • Plan and coordinate the inspection and testing of Low Voltage (LV) Panels.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Produce test reports for inspected panels.
  • Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and diligently follow up until resolution.

Customer Interaction and Finalization:

  • Engage in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) alongside Third-Party Inspection (TPI) or Customer representatives.
  • Address and resolve comments in the punch list provided by TPI/Customer, ensuring timely closure.

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

4 to 6 Years
