Job Description

IWTE Co. provides water solutions for industrial, commercial and residential projects.
IWTE is seeking a motivated, customer savvy, proposal engineer with experience developing,
estimating and quoting custom water treatment solutions.

[1] Work directly with customers to understand their processes and develop the best solutions for their
requirements.
[2] Work with our sales team to professionally represent the company at a customer, gather data, and ask
the right questions to define a project.
[3] Work with our engineers and designers to develop and quote cost effective solutions.
[4] Recognize and understand the customer’s needs, make suggestions for possible solutions, and
quickly develop budgetary numbers. Accuracy is essential.
[5] Cost analysis and estimating.
[6] Develop value-added propositions and proposal writing.
[7] Additional duties may be assigned, as required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

[1] A Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering-related discipline (e.g. Chemical Engineering, Environmental
Engineering, etc.).
[2] Technical aptitude is required – candidates must be proficient with the usage of MS-Office, Visio,
Solid Work and CAD. Familiarity with control systems, electrical systems, etc.
[3] Strong Technical Writing Skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

[1] Strong interpersonal skills – successful candidates will communicate effectively, possess strong
writing skills, etc.
[2] Highly organized, excellent problem solver, strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and
multi-task.
[3] Minimum of one (1) year in water treatment field with several years in sales or project management.
[4] Ability to travel to the customer site as necessary.
