Job Description
In this position, you will join the “Africa and Middle East” BU of the International Department (ID) of Suez Consulting. The ID has a turnover of €40 million, achieved on projects in Europe, the Balkans, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific. The projects are mostly carried out in conjunction with international donors (AFD, WB, ADB, AfDB, EU, EIB, etc.), for which our teams work in the engineering of essential services: water, waste, roads, rails, etc. in developing and emerging countries.
YOUR MISSIONS
- You are responsible for several projects simultaneously, based mainly within the geographical scope of the reporting department.
- You ensure operational management, including accounting and financial management.
- You are also in charge of the contractual and administrative part.
- For each of these projects, you are in contact with a Team Leader based in the project country and you report to the Director of the “Africa and Middle East” BU. Transversally, you benefit from the methodological support of the PMO (Project Management Office) and experienced project directors.
- You are also responsible for the coordination and contractual management of your partners (International or local Design Offices ) in order to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- You are also required to participate in the completion of certain projects in terms of expertise according to your specialty.
- You will also be required to represent the company to our clients in the country in question.
- Finally, you may be required to structure responses to calls for tender, in support of the team in charge of business development, particularly in writing methodology.
YOUR PROFILE
- Hold a BAC+5 diploma (engineering school);
- At least 5 years of experience in managing projects funded by International Donors;
- Have technical skills in the areas of expertise of Suez Consulting;
- You have good interpersonal skills and good listening skills;
- You have a strong team spirit;
- You are autonomous and organized;
- You are rigorous and responsive;
- You have good writing skills;
- You are comfortable with numbers and have a foundation in accounting and financial management;
- You have the ability to establish relationships and maintain privileged contacts with the client;
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
