Project Manager

Job Description

Take project-level responsibility for the technical and commercial delivery of assets defined in the finalized asset development plan, according to objectives of scope, time, cost and quality.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop the Project Management Plan and the Project Charter.
  • Ensure that the approved Project Management Plan is implemented.
  • Ensure that the Design Consultant provides a Design Management Plan in support of the Project Management Plan, and that the Design Consultant works in accordance with his plan.
  • Ensure that the Contractor provides a Construction Management Plan in support of the Project Management Plan, and that the Contractor works in accordance with his plan.
  • Oversee the level of service provided by the Supervision Consultant.
  • Regularly review the performance of the Supervision Consultant and the Contractor.
  • Use the support services of the Cluster Projects Support team, in order to control the project in a competent and professional manner.
  • Provide all written reports as required by the Directorate Projects Manager.
  • Carry out project team performance appraisals.
  • Lead the process of reviewing claims and change requests, and identifying overall impact.
  • Review the constructability of design.
  • Review the Initial and final Acceptance Requests and request forming the committee.
  • Identify and share lessons learned.
  • Keep up-to-date registers of project risk and value opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 5+ Years of experience
