Project Engineer, Low Voltage

Job Description

This Position exists to Oversee the plan, execute, and finalize projects efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.

Key Accountability Areas

Project Planning and Scheduling:

  • Plan project schedules and provide preliminary commitments.
  • Control schedules by monitoring the status of project activities, recognizing deviations from the plan, and taking corrective actions to minimize risks.

Project Execution and Management:

  • Apply knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet project requirements.
  • Direct and manage projects on the shop floor, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to project plans.
  • Provide all facilities to release the project from each milestone, including receiving IPO, design, metal, materials, production, quality control, and customer inspection.

Monitoring and Control:

  • Monitor and control project processes, including IPO, planning, execution, and closing, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Manage conflicts in project activities and between milestones to maintain project momentum.

Communication and Stakeholder Management:

  • Manage and control communications throughout the project life cycle, ensuring that information needs are met.
  • Manage customer inspections and address inspection comments to ensure project closure aligns with customer requirements.

Delivery:

  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

  • Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Any relevant field
