Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Oil & Gas Project Design Engineer to join the Siemens Team in Abu Dhabi to lead the execution of a major Electrical O&G Project.
Your Role – International, Challenging And Future-Oriented!
- You will analyze the technical information of the project and process any required technical clarification either internally or externally with the customer.
- Prepare electrical designs as per the Siemens engineering standards.
- Control and actively influence the execution of the forecasted engineering schedule in terms of design.
- Review and coordinate vendor engineering and accord clarifications, rejections and approvals under the guidance of the Engineering Manager.
- Process internally and externally design change requests during the execution of the project.
- Keep a constant communication with the Engineering Manager reporting pending issues and the status of handled project design.
- Attend, with the Engineering Manager and project manager, vendor meetings, customer meetings, factory visits for design reviews, inspections, factory tests and site topics related to engineering.
Your Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor Engineering degree from local or international University or Technical Institute in Electrical Engineering disciplines.
- Good communication skills in English language (written and spoken) with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Min 5 years’ experience in Medium and Low Voltage Power Distribution Designs is a must.
