You will be working as Product Marketing Specialist Medium Voltage Switchgear and will be part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to Product Marketing Director and will be responsible to support ELDS Sales & Solutions organization in implementing product marketing strategies in the local market for Medium Voltage Switchgear Business Line. Determine the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions towards the market vs customer projects, prepare technical descriptions of the applied products and technology to support the early prescription process. Serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area.

Your responsibilities

  • Realization of product offering and solutions to market & project requirements, achieving product marketing targets and budgets through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed
  • Executing annual marketing plan in conjunction with relevant division or product groups, preparing business plans focused on business development for a defined market, coordinating market analyses with sales team members and defining appropriate forecasts and plans
  • Evaluating and sharing customer research, market conditions and competitor data, overseeing sales execution for assigned products by providing relevant materials and guidance to sales teams, driving sales efficiency by delivering appropriate product knowledge information and training (technical and sales) for each salesperson
  • Building up the Country marketing plan showing product positioning, market analysis, market mapping, strategy for market coverage and action plan, implementing the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including definition and communication of product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy
  • Promoting product technical features to the market and work on specification influences, this can be extended in events participations where we address the message to the right audience, approvals and homologation of product is a part of your responsibility
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensuring that they are communicated and implemented within all activities

Your background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the field of marketing & sales at MV network grids for products / solutions
  • Knowledge of MV applications/ products is a must
  • Fluency in both English language is mandatory
