Job Description
  • Lead and manage the IT department, including supervising and mentoring IT staff, setting performance goals, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement the IT strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure their reliability, security, and scalability.
  • Define and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance, data integrity, and information security.
  • Manage the IT budget, including cost control, procurement of hardware and software, and vendor management.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to understand their technology needs and provide appropriate solutions and support.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and systems to enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation.
  • Ensure the availability and performance of IT systems and applications through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
  • Develop and implement IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Manage IT projects, including project planning, resource allocation, and timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to guide IT strategy and decision-making.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and customer service within the IT department.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to IT operations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to IT staff and end-users, including troubleshooting complex issues and resolving escalated incidents.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement and maintain effective security measures and protocols.
  • Prepare and present reports on IT operations, projects, and performance to senior management.
