Job Description


The Head of Marketing and Sales is responsible for managing and promoting the NEOM brand in the European & UK markets. The role involves identifying target markets and customers for NEOM properties and coordinating sales and marketing events to drive brand awareness and sales. The role responsibilities shall be done in alignment with the overall NEOM Marketing Strategy.

This person will be a valued member of NEOM’s effort to build a world class organization in the London office to source direct foreign investment, find partners critical to the build-out of NEOM globally, attract property buyers, and promote a positive brand for NEOM in the UK & Europe.

Position description and responsibilities

  • Develop a marketing and sales strategy for NEOM properties once available for sale.
  • Manage and promote the NEOM brand across various channels.
  • Identify target markets and potential customers for NEOM properties.
  • Coordinate sales and marketing events to drive brand awareness and sales.
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Oversee market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
  • Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs.
  • Meet with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
  • Coordinate liaison between sales department and other sales-related units.
  • Analyze and control expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Assist other departments within the organization to prepare manuals and technical publications targeting European and UK markets.
  • Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes, and plans to determine effectiveness.
  • Set departmental KPIs, conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback to foster professional growth and development.
  • Create and manage integrated, innovative marketing campaigns and promotional events that resonate with target audiences and result in measurable success.
  • Implement a robust analytics and reporting system to measure marketing effectiveness, track ROI and provide actionable insights for ongoing and future marketing campaigns.
  • Act as a key figure in managing brand crisis situations, crafting strategies to mitigate potential market risks and advising senior leadership accordingly.
  • Tailor marketing initiatives to specific market projects, working in tandem with senior leadership and any other main stakeholders at NEOM to ensure alignment.

Knowledge and Experience

  • 15+ years of experience in the real estate industry marketing and sales.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably at a director level or higher.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Proven ability to design, develop and implement both strategic programs and supporting tactics.
  • Strong strategic planning and analysis skills in sales, marketing, and business (competitive) strategy.
  • Extremely effective public speaking skills and presence.
  • Strong written communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a creative team.
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges.


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • An MBA would be a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of Marketing and Sales experience in the real estate industry.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in organizing events.
  • Proven expertise in strategic marketing and sales initiatives, skilled in supporting decision-making for business growth through insightful analysis and effective communication.
  • Understanding of the various relevant events and conferences in Europe.
