Job Description

Purpose of the job is to provide safe and effective site installation and commissioning services for all types of pumping equipment .

Your main tasks and responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day to day management of Field service team;
  • First line technical support for engineers and clients;
  • Prepare field service work packs and conduct mobilization activities;
  • Implementing HSEQ systems and supporting HSSEQ Manager;
  • Develop and implement operational processes and procedures;
  • Provide Coaching and mentoring for all Field Engineers;
  • Develop and execute specific training plans for various skill levels;
  • Develop technical method statements related to rotating equipment;
  • Participate in Root Cause failure Analyses to identify probable cause of failure;
  • Develop and maintain good and effective relationships with clients to identify further service opportunities;
  • Implement quality management system;
  • Manage relevant suppliers and subcontractors related to field service activities;
  • Participate and actively support company initiatives;
  • Liaise with regional service center managers;
  • Assisting with preparation of technical proposals and tenders;
  • Responsible for field service team recruitment;
  • Familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures, practices, and measures in place to mitigate the risks;
  • Deputizing for UAE operations manager.

Qualifications/experience and knowledge required

  • Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent / Mechanical Engineering technical qualification;
  • 15 years’ experience of installation and commissioning activity related to pumps, compressors, and other rotating equipment;
  • Working experience > 5 years for rotating equipment original manufacturer (preferably);
  • Experience of assembly, operation and testing of pumps, compressors, and other rotating equipment;
  • Managerial experience > 3 years;
  • General computer skills.
