Job Description
To be responsible for providing services on all technical and techno-economic aspects during mainly the execution, project completion and handover of utility scale solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System power plants besides other supports during the earlier stages of project development. As part of an integrated project team, to prepare and agree on project specifications, budgets and timescales with contractors, PMC/owner’s engineer, clients or other stakeholders, and to define basic design, and create or review test procedures for solar power plant and BESS components. To supervise EPC design and PMC design review and ensure a common Masdar Clean Energy approach in requirements related to engineering across projects.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Renewable Energy or related field
- Chartered Engineer status(e.g. IET, EUR Ing, PEng) is an asset
- Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2,) is an asset
Preferred Experience:
- 6-8 years of experience in the power industry preferably with an EPC contractor, developer, engineering firm or technical consultant
