Job Description
Responsibilities
– Source quotations from qualified suppliers based on specifications provided by internal customers
– Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to obtain the best value for the organization
– Prepare comparison analyses to evaluate supplier quotations
– Issue purchase orders and manage related documentation through completion
– Maintain supplier databases and develop new supply sources as needed
– Monitor purchase request status and provide weekly updates to management
– Review market conditions, pricing trends, and material availability
– Assist with order acknowledgements, payment invoices, and supplier inquiries as needed
– Verify shipping information and ensure customs compliance for international shipments
– Contribute to department goals and implement quality management systems
Key Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
– 3+ years of purchasing or supplier negotiation experience in Electrical Projects, Construction or similar industries.
– Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
– Proficiency with ERP/SAP systems preferred
– Knowledge of customs regulations and international logistics a plus
– Attention to detail and documentation skills
– Ability to work across departments to achieve objectives
