Job Description
As a Precast Production Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective manufacturing of precast concrete elements. You will be responsible for overseeing the production processes, implementing quality control measures, and optimizing production workflows to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Collaboration with various stakeholders, including design engineers, project managers, and production staff, will be essential to drive continuous improvement and innovation in precast manufacturing.
Key Accountability Areas
1. Production Planning and Management:
• Develop production schedules and ensure adherence to timelines for the manufacturing of precast concrete elements.
• Coordinate with project managers and design engineers to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with production capabilities.
• Optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste of manpower and raw materials.

2. Quality Assurance and Control:
• Implement quality control measures throughout the production process to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on raw materials, molds, and finished products.

3. Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction in precast manufacturing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and streamline workflows.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation in precast production.
4. Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate hazards associated with precast manufacturing operations.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols among production staff.
5. Team Leadership and Training:
• Provide leadership and guidance to production staff, including operators and technicians, to optimize performance and productivity.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of production team members.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment to promote employee engagement and retention.
Role Accountability
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in precast concrete manufacturing or similar production environments.
• Strong knowledge of precast manufacturing processes, including casting, curing, and finishing.
• Proficiency in CAD software for design and drafting of precast elements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing production teams.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing environments.
