Job Description
Leads all preventive and predictive maintenance activities at all types of electrical systems. Assist all types of troubleshooting to all equipment. All activities of the System Maintenance Section, including the development and implementation of quality systems. Ensure efficient, safe work environment and reliable operation in accordance with industry standards, company policies and standard operation procedures in order to meet Company objectives.
Key Accountabilities
- Investigates equipment maintenance problems and initiates corrective measures.
- Works closely on equipment reliability and process improvement with operations and support group staffs
- Provide technical support for large machinery/rotating equipment outages and repairs
- Support capital projects by supplying engineering expertise in the specification, design, and construction of capital projects in accordance with plant design requirements, as well as regulatory, ASME, API, and CPC standards.
- Contribute scope development for maintenance and capital improvements
- Perform criticality analysis and spare parts recommendations
- Contribute troubleshooting skills to assist maintenance and operations
- Participate in the Bad Actor program and complete assigned action items
- Take part in predictive/preventive maintenance initiatives
- Track KPls and other metrics related to rotating equipment performance
- Serves as a subject matter expert in equipment failures and repair techniques during root cause investigations
- Provides technical expertise to plant personnel on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating whether equipment is designed to meet its intended or existing service conditions
- Ensures repairs, repair techniques, equipment specific training, are documented and made available
- Participates in developing the maintenance budget to support the maintenance strategy
- As required, provides engineering input to work packages to ensure standards are followed
- Provides input on development of work orders during development of turnaround work scope, particularly on critical equipment requiring engineering review or input
- Creates/develops/changes/updates job procedures and checklists, and initiates procedure MOC’s
- Uses reliability engineering principles and tools (such as Reliability
- Growth Analysis RGA and Root Cause Analysis) to improve Asset Reliability and Ion -term cost of ownership of the facility.
- Review data of Electrical equipment maintenance budget and analyze for common mode of failures, repetitive failures and performance of equipment designs/materials.
- Develop electrical procedures for mechanical equipment in order to facilitate consistent execution of maintenance tasks.
- To conduct Preventive and corrective maintenance of all the electrical systems at SABTANK. Permanent qualified electrical technician that will carry out activity as per SABTANK Schedule. The required maintenance should be as follows:
- Preventive Maintenance
- Corrective Maintenance
- Establish, create and implement a preventive maintenance program for all Electrical systems based on SABTANK engineering and maintenance standards and the Manufactures Instruction/recommendations.
- Performs other duties such as ensuring adherence to safety and participating in the investigation of any incidents and compiling incident reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical or equivalent Education
- 9-12 years of relevant experience.
- The successful candidate should be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
- Should be able to evaluate and prioritize work to ensure alignment with the department’s goals
- Have good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and administrative abilities are required
- An acute sensitivity to safety issues in a hazardous environment
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization and with individuals and groups from different disciplines and industries
- Possess the personality and ability to relate to and to establish a mutually respectful relationship with 1) management, 2) peers and 3) the various facility level workers (Plant Manager, Plant supervision, and Plant workers) who are all responsible for ensuring good operations.
- Organized, planning skills, able to manage multiple activities and programs timely and with a high degree of accuracy, able to meet work deadlines.
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Working understanding of SAP, Meridium
