Job Description
This Position exists to perform engineering tasks efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.
Key Accountability Areas
Equipment Maintenance:
- Understand, operate, and maintain a variety of Trumpf equipment, including CNC punch machines, laser machines, CNC bending machines, air compressors, dryers, powder coating plants (automatic and manual spray), and hydraulic systems.
- Oversee automation controls using PLC and SCADA systems to ensure proper functionality and integration within production processes.
Downtime Minimization:
- Focus on keeping plant and machinery maintained to achieve near-zero downtime, ensuring smooth and continuous production.
- Collaborate with production functions, such as fabrication and assembly, to schedule and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs that reduce unplanned downtime.
Documentation and Process Improvement:
- Systematically document all maintenance activities and keep accurate records using the SAP program to ensure transparency and track machine performance.
- Provide support to other departments by helping implement improved process layouts. Contribute to organizational goals such as enhancing productivity, reducing costs, minimizing waste, maintaining 6S standards, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.

- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
