Job Description
  • Possesses strong Instrument / Electrical design experience with a good understanding of instrument naming conventions including wiring, loops and control system tags.
  • Possesses solid knowledge / experience (multiple years) of Domain Administration in the support of the system in an EPC environment executing both Greenfield and Brownfield projects.
  • Exposure and experience with Oracle, C languages and Visual Basic would be most desirable.
  • The ability to perform database maintenance including optimizing indexes, updating statistics and resizing of tables with solid knowledge and experience in producing back-up files and export files in Watcom, CSV and Excel format.
  • Competent in the browser and capable of configuring / producing standard reports.
  • Possesses broad onshore design experience with quality control / verification and validation, and awareness of fabrication techniques.
  • Knowledge of onshore oil and gas production facility design standards / specifications.
  • The ability to effectively interface with multiple communities, including project management, discipline engineers and designers, vendors etc.
  • Complete understanding of FEED and detail design in Greenfield and Brownfield deliverables for Onshore projects.
  • Understands the scope of projects and has the capability to manage and support users in the creation of deliverables from the system.
  • Ensure Quality Management System requirements are met in line with ISO 9001-2015.
  • Works closely with the EDS Supervisor for forecasting and scheduling of man-hours, quality control of users of the system for project execution, as building and handover to operations and Maintenance.
  • Recommends, designs and implements work process improvements where appropriate within the confines of the Office environment.
  • Is aware of industry leading technology trends and applications.
  • Ensure obtaining As-Built information and providing solutions in the absence of As-built information.
  • Ensure management by team all technical Clarifications- on scope and needs.
  • Responsible for coordination with the asset teams for the information and technical discussions.
  • Accountable for the Decision Making on changes
  • Ensure timely close out of all assurance reviews actions
  • Ensure management of raising, uploading ,liaising for approval of Technical Variances
  • Ensure managing and approving of all Final reports in timely manner.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires certification from a recognized technical institution in the field of Instrument / electrical design or IT DB management.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in applying fulltime Administration skills to upstream oil and gas projects.
  • Experience in the Operations and Maintenance and major capital project environments.
  • proficient in 2D CAD systems with at least 10 years of industry discipline related CAD design experience (electrical and or instrumentation).
  • Engineering degree / diploma or equivalent time-based application experience.
