Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented EDMS Manager to join our team!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and coordinate document nomenclature and naming conventions.
  • Plan and implement systems for efficient document processing.
  • Select, design, and recommend EDMS System and preferred commercial policy.
  • Coordinate document flow between project operations, engineering disciplines, construction team, or other department groups.
  • Implement document/data management solutions focusing on document control and records management.
  • Process document types according to well-defined procedures and guidelines.
  • Receive, track, and monitor documents using standard document management programs.
  • Keep abreast of department technologies, techniques, and services relevant to the area of responsibility.
  • Provide assistance and training to users in capturing and locating electronic information.
  • Maintain an established data distribution system and schedule for the assigned project.
  • Verify retention requirements, arrange document cataloging, packing, and long-term storage or disposal of documents.
  • Assist junior document control staff in ensuring effective implementation of project-specific procedures.
  • Serve as liaison between support group, home office, and field personnel.
  • Delegate and direct the work activities of project document control team.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

  • Bachelors degree in from a reputable university
  • Minimum 8 years of related work experience in managing EDMS systems and processes
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in document control from the project initiation to close out phases, utilizing computer-based systems (EDMS), within the framework of an integrated project services function for the effective management of a wide range of concurrent projects.
  • Prior experience using Procore or similar systems is required.
  • Knowledgeable of document control work processes and utilization of electronic systems for document management, as well as corporate procedures related to document management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, assignments will require a working knowledge of various EDMS.
  • Ability to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and company policies and procedures are required.
  • Must also possess a thorough knowledge of database concepts, project-related software, and the ability to train others in its use.
  • Good oral and written English language, with good computer skills.
  • Fluency in Arabic is preferred.
