Job Description

This Position exists to perform checking incoming raw material for its characteristics efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.

Key Accountability Areas

  • Performing and control daily analysis and additions of all chemicals as per Wls
  • Maintaining processes parameter as per process control plans for powder coating and plating, Preparing, and maintaining laboratory’s reports and required WIs as per QMS.
  • Executing required trials for developing new chemicals all processes as per business initiatives.
  • Supporting incoming quality team for required analysis of new batches of raw materials.
  • Control all inventories of chemicals and equipment’s related to the laboratories and trials
  • Ensure 6S in the laboratory and coordination with QA team.
  • Monitoring, troubleshoot and manage and control all chemicals non conformances P&P
  • Maintain and represent P&P safety issues for MP and production lines.
  • Ensuring laboratory’s inventories and documentations for all activities.
  • Executing required trials for developing new chemicals for all processes as per business needs, supporting incoming quality team for required analysis of new batches of raw materials
  • Ensuring quality requirements and following all the Quality related procedures and documents.
  • Ensure smooth production and report the problems in the processes to section head.
  • Take a decision to stop and run the production based on issues appearing on the coating process PandP (by coordinating zone leaders without increasing unplanned down time).

  • Adhere to all Safety procedures and regulations

Academic Qualification

  • Bachelor Degree in Chemistry

Work Experience

  • 2 to 5 Years

Technical / Functional Competencies

  • Safety
