Job Description
Parsons is now seeking an Assistant Project Manager – Dry Utilities (Saudi National) for one of our prestigious projects in Riyadh! The program is looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager with a desire to work on creating innovative, practical solutions for the iconic King Abdullah Financial District Program.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develops project documents, processes, and procedures required to support quality control and final project deliverables.
- Collaborates with Project Manager to determine the number of hours required for successful completion of project tasks.
- Anticipates project staffing needs, identifies and interviews available personnel, and makes staffing assignments in accordance with schedule requirements.
- Posts all required legal notices at the job site.
- Establishes site security measures and monitors site access by subcontractors and others.
- Anticipates problems and works with clients, architects/engineers, subcontractors, and Project Managers to identify and implement corrective actions.
- Keeps client and Project Manager informed of the day-to-day activities of the project.
- Maintains accurate documentation of job progress through daily logs and other reports.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or construction-related field (or equivalent)
- Typically 3-5 years’ related work experience is required.
Desired Skills You’ll Bring
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications
