Job Description

Main Accountabilities

  • Preparing and monitoring of maintenance budget and ensuring effective performance of all BVW assets within the budget.
  • Develop and implement asset management procedures and tools (CMMS).

Detailed Job Description

  • Manages preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Recruits, trains, and develops personnel.
  • Controls the execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Develops asset management procedures and programs.
  • Defines long-term strategies to optimize equipment maintenance and renewal costs.
  • Installs, configures, sets-up, and updates Veolia CMMS.
  • Analyzes maintenance incidents and improves maintenance program and procedures.
  • Keeps technical documentation updated.
  • Identifies and purchases spare parts and strategic equipment.
  • Develops and monitors maintenance budget.
  • Prepares weekly, monthly, and yearly maintenance reports.
  • Works closely with Operation Manager.
  • Understands and implements QHSE policy.
  • Involves in risk assessment and continual improvement.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant QHSE Procedures.
  • Plans, informs, and advises team on QHSE risk.

General

  • Be exemplary in the implementation of the IMS
  • Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with QHSE procedures
  • Understand, adhere and apply QSE policies , rules and procedures
  • Involvement in the QHSE system
  • Report QHSE risks and impacts associated with its activities

Qualifications

Ability to

  • Clear, concise oral and written communication to prepare and present reports to management, and the general public.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with operations staff, contractors
  • and the client representative.
  • Able to work after working hours including public holidays
  • On call duty when required.

Is a plus the Knowledge of

  • Beach well field
  •  Reverse osmosis process
  • Gulf countries

Education

Master or Bachelor Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent professional qualification)

Experience

​​​​​​Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
